Hello, I am Hyerin. (say Herin).
I am a strategic UX/ UI designer & researcher.
In my design approach, I thrive on iteration, which usually unfolds through research and design phases. I particularly enjoy delving into the research stage, where I engage with users and stakeholders through interviews and dynamic workshops to uncover new insights, pinpoint existing pain points, and identify areas of opportunity.In the design phase, I prioritize a rapid cycle of creation and testing, aiming to fail quickly in order to refine and arrive at the most effective solutions.
I came from Seoul, South Korea, where I studied product and visual design. In 2019, I moved to the Netherlands with my Dutch husband. I am an adaptable person, embracing multi-cultures with resilience. At TU Delft Industrial Design Engineering, I pursued a Master's in Design for Interaction.
In my free time, I like to pick up new hobbies, meet people, play piano, do yoga, read books, and cook. I show my ambition with action and a learn new things consistently. Currently, I am dedicated to enhancing my skills in building user-friendly websites and app, and contributing to the development of brand identities for businesses.
